Nigerian history has been against Biafra and its reality from the onset as Ahmedu Bello the then Northern political leader (Premier) disclosed.
Ahmadu Bello, was a conservative Nigerian statesman who masterminded Northern Nigeria through the independence of Nigeria in 1960 and served as its first and only premier from 1954 until his assassination in 1966, in which capacity he dominated national affairs for over a decade.
Ahmadu Bello was revealed by Mazi Kanu through his last media broadcast at 7pm, 14th March 2021 to be the first national spokesman that have openly declared hatred to Biafran in a conversation with a BBC interviewer in the early 60s.
Ahmadu Bello was asked during the interview why the Igbos are being hated by the Northerner, why do the Northern district have such obsession over the Igbo?
The only answer Ahmadu Bello gave was that Igbos are domineering. In his words he said.
“These people are domineering, they come into our villages, towns and cities and take over us. They always want to be the head of anywhere they enter”
These were the words of the Premier in the speaking against the people that have not done anything to them as of that time.
It was on recorded that the Igbos were heading the factories of the white men getting jobs on the top levels and becoming very illustrious, industrious and prominent in the early 60s which led to this hatred by the Fulani led by the premier Ahmadu Bello.
Ahmadu Bello added that he foresees tribal pressure which is absolutely what’s going on now.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu made this open with a question; why then do we want to be with those that hate and have a great obsession over us?
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu added that the major problem of the ria as a county is not fully the British but the Fulani people
